A 30,000-ton-per-year bottle-to-bottle facility has recently come on-line in Mexico. Operated by Petstar S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Avangard Innovative Plastics, the new facility will take in plastic from Avangard Mexico's collection network and recycle it into food-grade resin to be used in the production of new beverage bottles for Mexico's soft drink industry.
